Story of the movie (Mandakini – 2024)
The story of the film Mandakini revolves around a young woman named Ambily, who is married to a young man named Aromal. An unintentional mistake on the wedding night reveals the biggest secret of her life.
Actually, Ambily accidentally drinks the liquor that was kept for her husband Aromal. In a drunken state, she reveals the secret of her past and confesses her relationship with her old lover Sujith Vasu. This confession by Ambili shocks not only Aromal but the entire family.
After this revelation, Ambili’s family confronts Sujith Vasu. Slowly, the truth comes out that Sujith had treated Ambili very badly in the past. She was cheated and abused, which led to a painful past.
As the story progresses, circumstances take such a turn that Sujith’s true identity is finally revealed to everyone. Ambili is exposed by her family and others. Enraged, the family members teach Sujith a lesson and he is embarrassed in front of everyone.
Finally, Aromal realises that Sujith’s presence in Ambili’s life was only a pain. He accepts that Sujith will no longer be a part of their lives, giving him and Ambili a chance to make a fresh start.
