Varun Sandesh’s new film “Nindha” is releasing in theaters on 21 June 2024. Varun Sandesh is seen in a new and serious avatar in this film, which offers a different experience to the audience. The story of the film revolves around a mysterious kidnapping incident in which the protagonist Vivek (Varun Sandesh) takes a sub-inspector, a doctor, a lawyer, a constable and two commoners hostage. The film takes an interesting turn right from the beginning, which increases the curiosity of the audience as to why Vivek imprisons all these people. Does he want to uncover some truth? Is this hostage-taking connected to some old crime?
This is director Rajesh Jagannadham’s first film and he has tried to bring a good concept to the screen, but there are some shortcomings in the screenplay and direction. The story keeps the audience engaged in the first half, but after the interval the film loses its pace and impact. Despite this, Varun Sandesh’s acting is commendable and it would be better if he continues to appear in such experimental roles in the future.

Nindha Story
The story of “Nindha” is based on a mysterious and thrilling sequence in which the lead character Vivek (Varun Sandesh) suddenly kidnaps six people. These include a sub-inspector, a doctor, a lawyer, a constable and two civilians. They are held captive at an unknown location. At first, everyone is scared and confused as to who Vivek is and what is his motive?
As the story progresses, it is revealed that Vivek’s motive is not revenge or violence, but he wants to uncover the truth about an old murder that took place in Kandrakota village. Balaraju (Chatrapathi Shekhar) is arrested for this murder, but Vivek feels that Balaraju is innocent and has been wronged. Vivek believes that all the people he has kidnapped are in some way responsible for the false arrest and suppression of the truth.
Throughout the film, Vivek questions these people and one by one the truth is revealed. The audience is kept curious at every turn to know who the real killer is, and what is Vivek’s relationship with Balaraju.
Though the film starts off on a thrilling note, the second half gets a little weak. Despite this, the film gives the message that sometimes unusual ways have to be adopted to get justice. “Nindha” is a good idea, which could have been presented in a better way.
Movie Review
“Nindha” brings to the audience a different and mysterious story in which actor Varun Sandesh has shown a new direction in his career. His character Vivek in this film surprises the audience and shows Varun’s mature acting ability. This film is not only a thriller but also gives a social message, which is related to today’s justice system and the search for truth.
The story of the film begins when Vivek kidnaps six people, including a police officer, a doctor, a lawyer, a constable and two civilians. He holds them captive at an undisclosed location and questions them, which leads to the unraveling of an old murder case. All this is connected to the arrest of an innocent man, Balaraju. As Vivek extracts the truth from them, the audience gets a new information at every turn of the story.
Positive Side:
Varun Sandesh’s acting is really commendable. The kind of seriousness and depth he has shown in his acting is different from his earlier characters. Director Rajesh Garu’s style of direction is commendable, as he unravels the story layer by layer and maintains the mystery. The music, editing and cinematography of the film are three strong pillars, which together make the experience of the film great. The level of research done by the director is visible in every frame of the film. The film is also technically quite impressive – both visually and audio.
Cons:
Although the concept of the film is strong, the story weakens a bit in the second half. There are some scenes that seem beyond logic, and at times the story lacks seriousness. The flow of the plot slows down in many parts, which may lead to the audience losing interest. Also, some twists were expected, and many characters could have been given more depth.

Conclusion
“Nindha” comes with a unique and thought-provoking story that raises questions on society and the justice system. Varun Sandesh’s acting is commendable and director Rajesh Jagannadham’s efforts are praiseworthy. However, the film’s slow pace, some inconsistent scenes and a weak second half reduce its effectiveness. The technical side is strong, but the screenplay needed more finesse. Overall, “Nindha” is an experimental film that tries to say something new but fails to completely captivate the audience. Worth a one-time watch.
